Terms of Service

Please Note

Should you order from me, it indicates that you have read to, and agree to the terms listed here. If you have any questions at all about my terms, please don't hesitate to ask me!

General Terms

• DO NOT copy, trace, redistribute, steal, or sell my artwork

• Commissioners may use my art for personal use.

• Do not remove my signature from the art.

• I may post the art I create publicly unless asked not to.

• I have the right to decline art commissions if I feel the need to.

Ordering

• Be clear/specific about what you'd like.

• USD ​Paypal payments only, Payments are upfront.

• I will not start the order until the order is paid for.

• Do not send payment until asked to do so.

• Additional Fees may be applied through the following:

​              - Character design complexity.
              - If the character has extra limbs/wings/etc.

 Process of the Order

• Once the order is paid, you'll receive a sketch to approve. Sketches are generally messy, and are meant to get the general pose down. If you'd like changes to the pose itself, or anything else at this time, please ask! I'll work with you until we get the sketch where you want.

• After the sketch phase, I'll go into line art. Upon completely cleaning up the lineart you'll be sent a clean version to approve to make sure that there are no further changes needed to the piece.  

• Once the lines are complete, I'll add in the colors, any extras, and background if there is one. You'll be sent a final version. Changes to colors & SMALL line art edits may be made at this time. 

• Upon final approval I'll either e-mail the full resolution version, or upload it to a st.ash file for you. Generally I send out files in any of these sizes: 3000 x 3000 px / 1000 x 1000 px / 500 x 500 px. If you have a specific size you'd like, let me know!

• At this point, please let me know if you'd prefer your art not be uploaded to my various social media/art accounts. I'll usually ask permission, however, so don't worry too much about this part.

Credit

• Should you wish to upload your completed commission somewhere, credit should be given to my username CandySpaceStars  so others can find me if they so choose. I have a small signature that is place on each piece I do. I ask that you do not remove it. It's tiny, and generally will be somewhere that won't obstruct your art.
  
  SIDE NOTE: Older art is signed as MermaidOwls. This is because I have recently swapped my handle, please keep that in mind when viewing examples.
